The 360-degree panoramic views from Castello Di Velona were absolutely breathtaking. We felt like we were living in a painting with the stunning Val d'Orcia as our backdrop. The thermal spa was also a highlight, providing a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The staff, especially the friendly and welcoming restaurant staff, made us feel well taken care of during our stay. we highly recommend this hotel for its idyllic location and excellent facilities.

The location itself is top!

The suite for 3 people is not suitable for 3 adults. However, the air conditioning in the room must always work!!! The restaurant is way overpriced and was unable to prepare a nice salad. Everything should work better for this price. Otherwise the hotel is beautiful!

Localita Velona is not known in GPS. Missing signs w.r.t. reception, parking, ... Restaurant is not comfortable, it has the character of a waiting room in a railway station; we recommend carpets to get rid of this "cold" atmosphere.

We had friendly and unpretentious service. The grounds were beautiful and our room was dramatic and spacious.

The upgraded suite in the castle tower with panoramic views was a dream for a light sleeper. The outside thermal pools were heavenly. The food was amazing, with excellent quality and options at all the different restaurants. The staff, including the wine waiter and wine maker, were friendly and helpful. The overall experience was so enjoyable that we will definitely be returning.

very romantic, a luxurious blend of historical beauty and contemporary design in a clean, uncluttered resort experience. The staff are warm, friendly, and will do anything that you need. Montalcino is a lovely town, and the castle's setting is private and mystical, from the moment you start up the long winding drive to the top of the hill.

This stay met our expectations. We would like to come back and stay for a few days so we can really enjoy the experience. Atmosphere felt like a luxury experience and we were sorry to leave so soon.

Finding it with a GPSsystem was very frustrating. I recommend that the villa send out detailed directions at time of booking.

We had an incredible value for our money at this hotel. The room in the castle tower was spacious and offered breathtaking views from every window. The staff treated us with genuine friendliness and politeness, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, surrounded by the beauty of the Tuscan landscape.

I did not realize it was located so far out in the countryside. It was a drive to Montalcino. Restaurant was very expensive and had an odd menu, so we chose not eat there. In the evenings, there is not bar area to get a glass a wine or evening cocktail.
